Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actor who was born on the 17th of October 1992. Her movies are mostly made in Tamil or Telugu however she has a role in some Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress as the the role of actress Savitri for the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). In addition, she received a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy has the father of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. She started her acting career in the mid 2000s. She played her first major part as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013), which was a Malayalam movie. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The film did not perform well at the box office. In 2015, she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite each other. However, the films were not a success in the cinemas. In order to fit in bigger projects, she had to cancel projects she'd already begun working on. These comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. For a short period of time she also worked together with Sivakarthikeyan in Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead for Prabhu Sool's Thodari with Dhanush. Her Telugu debut had been scheduled to be titled Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. The film has been delayed since 2015, with speculation of a release date after September in 2020, under the name change to Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and was starring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was in Bairavaa written by Bharathan and featuring actor Vijay. She also appeared on screen in Tamil film Paambhu Sattai as well as Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
