Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actress and performer from America. She is most famous for portraying Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). The actress also played the main role of Jerrica Jem Benton for the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with her mother and father Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Growing up Aubrey performed with The Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She was valedictory of the 2012 class. Harvard University accepted her but was able to enter twice after which she accepted her role in Nashville. Peeples played on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). Also, she had a regular part in Necessary Rustiness (1991). She appeared in made for television movies Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. The Good Mother was her character. Layla Grant, a major role in the Nashville second season drama. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview from 2019 for NKD Magazine. Indiewire has named Peeples as one of the top actors who are younger than 20 in September of 2014.
