Eva Mendes is both an actor as well as a model. Her talent was noticed by an agent and encouraged her to get into the business of entertainment. The university she attended dropped her after some thought to pursue an entertainment career. In the film "Children of the Corn v Fields of Terror", she made her acting debut, and was disappointed with the result. To prove herself her worth, she had to work hard to improve her acting skills and appeared in numerous films with low budgets. She had a challenging road, but was rewarded for her patience and determination. The career of her acting began after she received recognition, praise and acknowledgement for her performance on Training Day.
